By an announcement dated 18/03/2020 and in an effort to help companies which have been affected by the measures imposed by the Cyprus government as regards the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver in Cyprus announced the following measures:

*Filing of Annual Returns*

The process of publishing 3-month notices prior to the delisting of non-compliant Companies is suspended until January 2021.

Payment of the Annual Levy of €350 for 2020 

Companies registered in Cyprus may pay the annual fee for 2020 until December 31, 2020 without the payment of the additional charges of 10% and 30%.

Late Filing Fees

In cooperation with the House of Representatives, the implementation of the new late filing fees for filings with the Registrar of Companies will be postponed until 2021.

Filing of Annual Returns for 2020

Annual Returns for 2020 may be submitted until the 31/12/2020, without the payment of the late filing fee of €20.
